Dr. Abrak Etemad
Dr. Abrak Etemad has been practicing dentistry since 2008 after receiving her dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She began her career teaching restorative dentistry and discovered that she had a knack for being gentle and helping other dentists do the same. That’s where she became known as “the Gentle Dentist of Newport Beach” began.
Meet Dr. Jeremy Owyoung
Dr. Jeremy Owyoung graduated from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry/Cell Biology and Management Science. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry (USC). Upon the completion of dental school, Dr. Owyoung was trained at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) to achieve his speciality certificate in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and a Master of Science degree in Biomaterials/Oral Biology. He has lectured and published on an array of topics including Chronic Disease Prevention and Oral Health Promotion, Dental Biomaterials, and Oral Implantology. Dr. Owyoung is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, A Recognized Specialty of the American Dental Association.
When he’s not fixing smiles, Dr. Owyoung enjoys mountain biking, music, and digital photography. He can also be found watching NBA basketball, and NFL/USC football.
